How to Choose the Perfect Fishing Waders

An angler’s equipment kit without a good pair of fishing waders is as incomplete as a camera without a reel. Fishermen can choose from a wide variety of boots as long as they give prime importance to comfort and are able to spend maximum time in the waters. Neoprene fishing waders are the most common and plebeian of the lot. A good pair of these can be bought in an affordable price of about a $100. Neoprene waders are exceedingly warm and are hence very comfortable during winters.

XTRATUF is an American made brand of protective neoprene boots which provide cent percent waterproofing for the most grievous conditions of fishing and farming. These are seamless boots lined with extra cushioning to fight fatigued and tired legs. These are designed to provide protection against a plethora of organic/inorganic acids and contaminants.

Besides neoprene, other types of waders are also available, namely rubber fishing waders and breathable fishing waders. Rubber boots even though inexpensive, are least suggested for anglers as they are highly uncomfortable. These should only be used as backup boots or by fishermen who do not move around too much. Breathable fishing waders although the most comfortable of the lot, are highly overpriced and not as durable as neoprene waders.

To conclude, comfort and waterproofing are the two most important things to be remembered while buying a pair of fishing boots.
